From a family garage to a studio.
We needed a workspace that spoke for us. When someone comes to us with a new project, they arrive with excitement, but also nerves and uncertainty, so the very first impression had to be one of calm, order, and clear judgement.
The starting point couldn’t have been less inviting: a garage used like a storage room, with hardly any light and completely packed. Clearing it out was the first project, emptying and cleaning the space so we could decide what it needed to become.
The budget was minimal, so we left the services exposed and unified everything else, walls, ceiling, and floor, in the same neutral tone. We needed to dial down the visual noise and bring clarity to what’s permanent. Life and a bit of chaos would come from the day-to-day: the projects we develop, and the pieces that will rotate through the space.
This material continuity gave us a space that could finally breathe, and from there it let us add character without breaking that sense of calm. We introduced steel and walnut, bringing precision and warmth to the atmosphere.
The arrival and reception area was key, it’s the first moment of the space, and it had to express exactly what we aim for in every project: clarity, care, and gentle transitions. The reaction is always the same: “It’s hard to believe this used to be a garage.”

This project sums up our method: sometimes simply organizing, unifying, and letting light and life in is enough. With that, the space does what matters most, it speaks for itself… and tells you that everything here will be done with calm, clear judgment, and intention.
